COMMON GROUND - PUMA x Arrow & Beast

There are collaborations that begin with a marketing brief. And then there are collaborations that begin with a genuine belief in a product.

Our partnership with PUMA started because we approached the brand with an idea — not simply to launch another sneaker, but to create something that felt authentic to the culture we have been building around Arrow & Beast for years. At the centre of that idea was one shoe: the PUMA Suede.

Why the PUMA Suede?

Few sneakers have earned the cultural relevance of the PUMA Suede. Since its introduction in 1968, the silhouette has crossed generations and communities unlike almost any other shoe. From basketball courts to hip-hop, from terrace culture to skateboarding, the Suede has become one of those rare products that belongs wherever people create culture.

For us, the Suede has always represented exactly what we love about great footwear: timeless design, premium materials and a history that can't be manufactured.

Building More Than A Launch

From the very beginning, our vision wasn't centred around retail. We wanted to build an experience. The answer wasn't louder marketing. It was community.
For years, Arrow & Beast and Zueblin Park FC have shared the same belief — whether it's skateboarding or street football, both communities grow through participation rather than spectatorship. They're built around public spaces, creativity, friendships and the idea that everyone is welcome.
Bringing those worlds together felt completely natural. That's how the Common Ground Cup was born. The shoe became the starting point. The people became the story.

A Weekend Built Around Community

Looking back, what we're most proud of isn't the event itself. It's seeing football players discovering skateboarding. Skateboarders supporting local football teams. Families spending the entire day together. People meeting each other who otherwise would never have crossed paths.
That's exactly what Common Ground was always intended to mean. Not competition. Connection.
The response throughout the weekend confirmed something we've believed for a long time: when products are introduced through authentic experiences instead of traditional campaigns, they create lasting memories rather than short-lived attention.

More Than Retail

At Arrow & Beast, we don't simply want to sell products. We want to tell stories around the products we genuinely believe in. The PUMA Suede has been part of skateboarding, street culture and fashion for decades. Giving that legacy a physical home for one weekend in Stuttgart felt less like creating a campaign and more like celebrating something that already existed.
We're incredibly grateful to everyone who made the project possible — especially the entire team at PUMA for believing in our vision, and to our friends at Zueblin Park FC for helping turn an idea into a weekend that truly reflected what community can look like.
The exclusive PUMA Suede colourway is now available at Arrow & Beast in Stuttgart and online while stock lasts.

This was never the end goal. It was the beginning.
