Nike, a name that dominates the world of sports, faced a challenge for a long time—breaking into the skateboarding world. But in 2002, everything changed when Sandy Bodecker launched Nike SB. This step marked the beginning of a revolutionary era for the brand. The Nike SB Dunk Low in particular played a central role. The cushioning and shock absorption of the previously rather inconspicuous basketball sneaker were enhanced with Nike Zoom Air soles to meet the demanding requirements of skateboarding.

Die NBA-Lizenzierung ist immer eine knifflige Sache. Zum Teufel mit allem. Wenn man gewinnt, wollen die Leute in Ihr Game einsteigen. In 2018 war Nike Sportswear der einzige Partner der American National Basketball Association. Es war also eine große Sache, dass Nike SB einen Shot bekam, keine Wortspiele beabsichtigt, oder vielleicht doch.
ARROW & BEAST hatte das Glück, einer der wenigen sehr exklusiven und ausgewählten Partner von Nike SB zu sein, der das Produkt erhalten und ein kleines In-Store-Event mit dem Swoosh veranstalten konnte.
Als eines der frühesten Designs von Nike, das 1973 eingeführt wurde, wurde der Nike Blazer in seinen verschiedenen Versionen fast sofort zu einem Lifestyle-Maßstab.
Von seinen Basketball-Ursprüngen gelangte es schnell auf die Straße und schließlich auf die Decks dieser Welt.
