NBA Licensing is always a tricky thing. Hell, licensing with everything. If you're winning, people wanna get into your business. In 2018 the only partner for the American National Basketball Association was Nike Sportswear. So Nike SB getting a shot, no puns intended, or maybe so, was actually a big deal.
ARROW & BEAST was lucky to be one of few very exclusive and select partners of Nike SB to get the product and host a small in-store happening with the Swoosh.
We had a good time with a small basketball tournament in our Stuttgart skate shop in the Tübinger Str. 12-16. Drinks, snacks, and a chance to win some shoes.
The Nike SB x NBA collection featured a set of high quality satin bomber jackets, as well as the stars, the blue satin Nike SB Dunk, the white Nike SB Blazer low and the pink Nike SB Bruin - to represent the colors of the league. Yeah pink is out there but hey, if you squint your eyes - we are almos there.
